As Human Resources Manager, Adelena Gallegos operates with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism as she assists the Director of Human Resources with the development, evaluation, and implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs. Ms. Gallegos manages the recruitment and staffing process, benefits and payroll administration, and training and development of staff while assisting and advising Pinnacle’s Directors with HR-related issues.
She began at Pinnacle in 2019 as a Human Resources and Payroll Administrator then moved up to Senior Human Resources and Payroll Administrator before her current role. Ms. Gallegos’s HR experience began when she worked at a manufacturing facility, starting as a laborer on the floor before being promoted and spending two years as a Human Resources Assistant. She then went on to work with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, managing contracts for farmer and rancher programs.
Ms. Gallegos is currently working towards her degree in Human Resources Management at Colorado State University. She had previously taken classes as a medical lab technician. She is an SHRM-certified professional, certified in mental health first aid and CPR, and has completed the Department of Transportation’s Reasonable Suspicion Training.
Ms. Gallegos was born and raised in the small town of Rocky Ford, Colorado – the melon capital of the world. She enjoys attending festivals and traveling to the mountains with her family. Closer to home, she often finds herself on the basketball court or ball field, providing support to recreational youth sports programs through coaching and development. With a passion for wildlife, she enjoys the simple, yet amazing gifts life has to offer.
