Jesse MestrovicAssistant District Manager
As Assistant District Manager, Mr. Mestrovic facilitates board meetings, budget preparation and planning, and monitoring of annual expenditures. He works collaboratively with Pinnacle’s team to build relationships with clients through ensuring timely and accurate tracking of projects, operations, and compliance throughout the districts.
Mr. Mestrovic brings over a decade of experience in operations and planning with public spaces to Pinnacle. In West Virginia and Ohio, he both immersed himself in and oversaw various aspects of state parks, public lands, and tourism. Most recently he was the director of the Parks & Recreation Department in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Mr. Mestrovic earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Master of Science in Recreation, Parks & Tourism Resources at West Virginia University. He’s certified in CPR and a member of the National Recreation and Parks Association. In West Virginia, he collaborated with a regional healthcare provider to found the state’s first community bike share program. He also co-founded Bike Wheeling, contributing to and facilitating bicycle safety events, community activities, and the region’s first National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) youth mountain biking team.
An adventure enthusiast, Jesse takes advantage of the Colorado outdoors whenever he can, kayaking, running, skiing and snowboarding, and cycling—often accompanied by his silver lab, Flint. He also has an interest in landscape photography and frequently brings his camera on his travels.
