As Accountant, Louis Bateman supports the Accounting Manager in all aspects of client accounting needs. These include but are not limited to day-to-day accounting functions, payroll, general ledger maintenance, preparing financial statements, and monitoring budget requirements. He also assists in maintaining the overall financial health of every district.
Mr. Bateman brings experience from several different industries to Pinnacle, including construction, manufacturing, engineering, distribution, and hospitality. Within each industry, Mr. Bateman handled accounts payable and receivable and cash management. He is excited to share his willingness to learn and help Pinnacle succeed in its mission in service.
Mr. Bateman earned a degree in Journalism Broadcasting from West Virginia University, and then a second degree in Accounting at Metropolitan State College in Denver.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mr. Bateman served an 18-month mission in California and recently finished supporting FEMA in COVID vaccine distribution. He also donates his time to the Weld Food Bank’s school backpack program to support hungry children, and he’s helped build houses for families in need in Mexico.
In his free time Mr. Bateman volunteers as a gymnastic coach. He loves watching his grandchildren play sports, and at home, he’s often reading, with murder mysteries his favorite genre.
