Lyndsey PaavilainenAssistant District Manager
As Assistant District Manager, Ms. Paavilainen assists in all management operations of Special Districts, including Board of Director activities and budgeting. She also manages relationships between consultants and their communities, ensures compliance with Title 32, and helps maintain contracts and records.
Prior to joining Pinnacle Ms. Paavilainen spent seven years in a multi-faceted role as Town Clerk for the town of Morrison. Along with being the right-hand woman to the Town Manager, she oversaw projects and supported the Board of Trustees and Planning Commission administratively. She also supported the Municipal Court and connected with land developers and town staff to achieve growth objectives.
Ms. Paavilainen earned a BA in Business Ethics with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship, a hybrid degree between the business school and the college of liberal arts at University of Colorado, Denver. Her minor was in History, with a focus on Colorado History. She is currently pursuing an MBA from Regis University to help foster the public/private partnerships within local government. To that end, she is a self-proclaimed “local government enthusiast,” advocating for local governing bodies’ control and accountability. She’s also a certified Municipal Clerk, and has memberships in the University of Colorado Alumni Association and the group Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL).
Ms. Paavilainen, whose last name is pronounced “P-AA-v-ih-L-AY-n-eh-n,” is married with two children. Work, school, and family keeps her busy, and she also enjoys soaking up everything the Colorado outdoors has to offer, from winter golfing to spring snowboarding as well as year-round camping, live music, and sunshine.
