Marie Barrington

Assistant Accounting Manager

As Assistant Accounting Manager at Pinnacle Marie Barrington is responsible for revenue and expense management, budgeting, billing, accounts payable and preparing financial statements. She also coordinates with auditors, preparing audit exemption forms and audit papers.

Her years of accounting experience include a scientific research company, where she followed government cost accounting principles, as well as the guidelines for the Defense Contract Audit Agency and Federal Acquisition Regulation. She also has multiple years of experience in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, full month-end closing, accounts payable and receivable, monthly billing, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, payroll processing, and various human-resources duties.

Ms. Barrington earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting minor from Central Washington University in Washington state.

Ms. Barrington enjoys spending time with her husband and their four-legged fur baby, Tango. Family means a lot to her, and she reserves as much time as possible for her father as well as her nieces and nephews. Reading for pleasure is one of her favorite pastimes. She tries to stick to the goal of completing two books per month. She also enjoys art, particularly drawing and painting.
