Mia Wilson’s role as Corporate Accounting Assistant includes managing billing and contracts databases, managing payroll, and assisting in the preparation of company accounting schedules.
Ms. Wilson spent 16 years in the South Central Kansas Library System working in accounting and budgeting as the Human Resource and Financial Specialist. Prior to joining Pinnacle she was the Business Office Manager at MorningStar Assisted Living in Fort Collins, responsible for Accounting and Human Resources.
Ms. Wilson was educated in Kansas, earning her BS in Business Management from Friends University in Wichita as well as her Associates Degree in Accounting from Hutchinson Community College. Her Human Resource Management Certificate is from Wichita State University.
In Kansas Ms. Wilson was significantly involved in her community. She spent four years as treasurer for the South Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce, and two and four years, respectively, as an appointed member of the Strategic Planning Committee and the Green Space, Park and Recreation Committee for the City of South Hutchinson. She also was on the Reno County Veterans Memorial 5K Committee for three years.
Having moved to Loveland from central Kansas in fall 2020, Ms. Wilson has been excited to explore. She has two adult sons, the younger of which lives with her and her husband. She has three cats and spends her free time reading, working out, and enjoying outdoor activities like walking, running, hiking, and paddleboarding.
