Nicole WingDistrict Administrator
Nicole Wing uses her skills in communication and relationship building along with a positive, outgoing attitude in her role as Assistant District Manager. In this position she assists District Managers, Accounting Managers, and Project Administrators in all aspects of Special District Management.
Having spent over six years as a probation officer with the state, Ms. Wing is intimately familiar with state and local legislation as well as court and legal documentation procedures. In addition to helping her hone her collaborative skills, this position also gave her room to creatively innovate — for example, conceiving and implementing specific projects to promote both safety and juvenile rehabilitation. She also gained expertise in budgeting as part of a multidisciplinary budgeting committee.
She earned her degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice at Metropolitan State University.
For nine years she’s been a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) to help be a voice for children in court, and she’s still in touch with the first child she was paired with.
Born and raised in Colorado, Ms. Wing is a huge football fan, specifically for the Broncos and University of Colorado Boulder. She tries to spend as much time in the mountains as she can, with annual trips to Breckenridge or for lakeside camping during the summer. Her free time finds her playing soccer, hiking, running, and reading, along with spending time with her husband, two kids, and their two dogs. She’s currently looking forward to skiing and snowboarding more, now that her children are getting older.
