Wendy McFarland
Accounting ManagerIn her role as Accounting Manager, Wendy McFarland coordinates and manages the day-to-day accounting functions, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of financial statements, compiling and monitoring of budgets, managing cash and investments, and maintaining the overall financial health of each client.
Before joining Pinnacle, Mrs. McFarland spent thirty years with the Boulder County government. Her most recent role was as Capital Accounts Administrative Manager, where she ensured the proper posting and effective workflow of a broad spectrum of general operations, capital improvements, infrastructure, and facilities management. She has an extensive background in budgeting as well as experience in accounting, workflow development, and change management.
Mrs. McFarland has completed coursework in accounting and management/leadership at both the University of Colorado and Front Range Community College.
She spends her free time sharing life’s adventures with her husband, twins, family, and friends — from supporting her kids’ activities and traveling, to camping and playing music together. A longtime mandolin player, she is heavily involved in the local bluegrass community and has spent 25 years dedicated to Planet Bluegrass in support of the annual Telluride Bluegrass and Rockygrass Music Festivals. Her family looks forward to these traditions with much passion.
