Senior HR Consultant, Kathleen Hix provides expert-level strategic and operational human resources advice, guidance, and support to the Director Leadership Team and HR staff. Ms. Hix leads various initiatives such as policy development, performance management, talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation, pay equity, benefits, employee relations, employment law and compliance.

Ms. Hix has over 25 years of Human Resources experience with Westminster, Louisville, Evans, and Greeley. Her responsibilities included managing all aspects of Human Resources including learning and development, budget, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits administration, policies and compliance, performance management, as well as multiple special projects.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado in Boulder where she also completed additional coursework towards a master’s degree.

Ms. Hix uses her hobby of sewing a wide range of items to give back to the community by making dog and cat beds for the local animal shelters. Over the last two years, she has added quilting to her sewing arsenal. In her spare time, Ms. Hix enjoys reading and is in two different book clubs. She can also be found outside gardening, hiking, and biking with her husband as well as walking their dog, Ella.
