Max Megliola

Assistant Accounting Manager

As Assistant Accounting Manager, Max Megliola supports the Accounting Manager with day-to-day accounting functions, payroll, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of financial statements, compiling and monitoring of budgets, managing cash and investments, and maintaining the overall financial health of each client.

Mr. Megliola interned at Archer Daniels Midland Company before joining the company as a full-time Staff Accountant. He maintained the fixed asset ledger and performed month-end reporting related to those assets. Mr. Megliola obtained experience working with project managers as he completed the accounting behind internal capital projects. As the Client Accountant at American Forest Management, Mr. Megliola completed property accounting for landowners. His main responsibilities included accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank management, monthly financial reporting, budget analysis, audit support, and year-end tax preparation for both small and large landowners throughout the United States. Additionally, he would assist with onboarding new clients.

While completing his bachelor’s in accounting at Elon University in Elon, North Carolina, Mr. Megliola was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega. Through the service fraternity, he participated in trail cleanups and helped at the local animal shelter.

When he can, Mr. Megliola loves to travel abroad. He has a running list of places to visit, with new places being added daily. When home, he can be found hosting board game or movie nights for friends and often with his two senior cats attached to his hip; they are his life.
